New Patagonia available online & in-store

Funkie house has been collaborating with Patagonia for years, and has been the first and only fashion store in Rotterdam who sells Patagonia. Other than an outdoor brand, Patagonia has been an upcoming brand in the streetwear fashion industry as well.

Patagonia started out with using materials for their products that caused less harm to the environment. Later on, they changed the company's purpose to: "We’re in business to save our home planet." While Patagonia is doing their best to address the environmental crisis, it wasn't enough. They found a way to put more money into fighting the crisis while keeping the company’s values intact.

That's when Patagonia decided to donate 100% of the company’s voting stock transfers to the Patagonia Purpose Trust, created to protect the company’s values; and 100% of the non-voting stock had been given to the Holdfast Collective, a non-profit dedicated to fighting the environmental crisis and defending nature. The funding will come from Patagonia: Each year, the money we make after reinvesting in the business will be distributed as a dividend to help fight the crisis.

We as Funkie House admire this decision from Patagonia, and because of its responsible approach, we are happy to sell Patagonia as one of our top brands. As a fashion store, we strive to sell more responsible brands to support the environment.
