Manouk is ready for the sunshine with this preppy spring look!

What
are you wearing today?
I am
wearing a white Jaxon Fit blouse from Carhartt WIP with a black blouse
from Carhartt WIP. Underneath this, I am wearing a black tennis skirt from
Dickies. To divide the black items, I only did the top buttons and I
took out the white collar from the Jaxon Fit. I’d say that plays into the
black-and-white contrast. I like to experiment with layering, especially with
loose-fitting items. To
give the fit an extra classy touch I am wearing the Vivian shoes
from Vagabond. I love the elegant yet very modern look of these, and who
has ever gone wrong with a cunty pointed-toe shoe? I
also added a classic Kangol 507 black cap, this combines with almost
everything, so I’d say it’s a must-have. Lastly, for the essentials,
I have a cute Susan Bijl pouch.
What
do you like most about working as a sales advisor?
I
love interacting with people. I get very passionate about styling the
clothing we have in store, and when people
get excited about the stuff they have on their
hands, I automatically match their energy.
What
is the number one item on your Funkie wishlist?
Hmm, I
am indecisive actually. I have been eyeing Vagabond shoes for a minute
now, especially the Hermine shoes, or the Vivians.
Where
do you get your outfit inspiration from?
My
style is very versatile, sometimes I dress like
a mom from the 90's, other days I wear streetwear. I get most of
my inspiration from Pinterest and playing around with the clothing I already
own. I usually decide what kind of style I’d be
wearing depending on what I feel like in the morning. This
morning guess I felt like mixing different styles.
What
is your favorite trend at the moment?
My favorite trend
at the moment is a pointed-toe shoe. It matches with more fits than
you would think and personally, when I see a pointed toe sticking out
under my jeans I feel very assured.
And
finally, what are you going to wear this spring?
This
spring I am most likely to wear a lot of different spring
jackets. Coats can add so much to an outfit, and how amazing is it to
finally have all options open after only wearing one thick coat all winter?
