Lola Pushes the boundaries of classic pieces!

What are you wearing and why did you choose these items?

The weather wasn't great that day, so I was hoping to manifest a warm summer. By folding over the waist of my shorts, I wanted to recreate the black-and-white contrast in my Dr. Denim top. I felt the shorts were more dressy when paired with loafers, so I complemented the look with my Kangol hat. The socks added a pop of color to the outfit!

Now, as a sales advisor, what do you enjoy most about your work?

What gives me the most energy at work is having great conversations with clients and genuinely feeling like I'm helping them. It’s rewarding to see them feel good about themselves and knowing I contributed to that feeling. I also enjoy working on the aesthetics, trying out and combining new styles in the store.

Where do you draw your style inspiration from?

My style combines feminine and masculine elements. I like pushing the boundaries of classic pieces, like blouses, by mixing them with streetwear vibes. I get a lot of my inspiration from Pinterest, where I create a new board every year to define my style. TikTok creators also influence my style.

What's your favorite trend, or do you have any fashion trends you particularly dislike?

I love mixing gold and silver jewelry, and I’m thrilled to see this trend becoming more popular. I also appreciate authentic dark denim, which has always been in style but is more prominent lately. I enjoy the trend of practical items like Salomons becoming fashionable. They are functional, fashionable, and sustainable due to their high quality and durability.

What are your plans for this summer?

I’m going on a girls' trip to Spain and camping in France with some friends. I’m planning to dress cute, maybe with a little boho inspo. I’ll be wearing my Tevas a lot probably while walking.

What is the number one item on your funky house wish list?

The new Carhartt Wip Brandom pant in the color Rigid Denim. These pants are a true denim color and the fit is amazing!
